Kosovo Calling

Prishtina, 19 March 2012 – “Kosovo Calling” – International conference to launch the position papers on the Kosovo’s relationship with EU and regional non-recognising countries” organised by Kosovo Foundation for Open Society and British Council in the framework of the project “Kosovo talks EU”, in collaboration with Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Kosovo and the British Embassy will take place on 20 April 2012. 

The aim of this one-day conference is to better understand the position ofBosnia and Herzegovina,Cyprus,Greece,Romania,Slovakia,SpainandSerbiatowards Kosovo. This activity will bring together in Prishtina representatives from the above mentioned countries as well as representatives from national institutions, international community and diplomatic corps. The conference will serve as a forum for open discussion on future relations between Kosovo and these countries and it will explore on possible models of engagement at the political, cultural and economical level.

Media is invited to be present at the opening session of the conference, which will take place at Swiss Diamond Hotel, on 20 April 2012, at 9:00. After the opening session, the conference will continue based on Chatham house rules.
