Make Kosovo Green Again: Environmentalism as a Means of Civic Education

Given the complexity of the environmental challenges at stake, we scale downthe investigation by focusing precisely on Kosovo’s waste management system at municipal level. More precisely, this paper explores the overlapping interests of CSOs and civic activism on the waste manage- ment in the country, thereby shining a spotlight on already-existing negative and positive aspects of the subject matter, as well as assessing new potential alterna- tives stemming from grassroots initiatives.
