Fighting Corruption in Kosovo: International and Local Efforts at a Crossroad

Authored by Nicasia Picciano and Cemalye Beysoylu, the policy brief, "Fighting Corruption in Kosovo: International and Local Efforts at a Crossroad"  tackles the complex, cross-sectoral nature of corruption which has affected the functioning of key state institutions and political processes in Kosovo and seeks to provide a meaningful oversight of international actors’ engagement with local stakeholders in combating corruption in Kosovo.  Specifically, the paper aims to identify areas of strength and weaknesses in terms of international-local cooperation, and propose a number of key policy initiatives that would streamline and coordinate their mutual efforts.

This policy brief is part of a series of publications produced by the Kosovo Research and Analysis Fellowship (KRAF), an operational KFOS project.
