Forum 2015 organizes round table discussion: Public opinion and religion – Public opinion research realized in September/October 2011

In recent times, there is an ongoing debate about religion in Kosovo society. The debate, in general is about analyzing the role of religion in relation to public institutions, which are based on secular principles.
Forum 2015, a Kosovo Foundation for Open Society project, through the Center for Humanistic Studies “Gani Bobi”, have done a research which was focused on finding answers, from Kosovar public opinion, on the following questions: What is the opinion of the general public in Kosovo about this debate? What do Kosovars think about religion, about the traditional way of practicing Islam, about the new ways of practicing Islam, about pro-western orientation of the country, and about other specific issues like religious education and use of hijab in public schools.
