The launch of the CDF Talks – a knowledge sharing platform from the CDF Project

May 30, 2013 Prishtina, Kosovo: In order to promote knowledge-sharing and capacity development, Capacity Development Facility – CDF project has put forward a platform dubbed “CDF Talks” , which will be a series of informal presentations by CDF advisers sharing their knowledge and good practices from their personal experiences while supporting Kosovo institutions. The first, of many to come, CDF Talks took place last Thursday, May 30th at coffee-library Dit’ e Nat’, a perfect set-up for knowledge gaining and sharing.CDF adviser Ms. Arta Balaj currently advising Minister Stavileci’s  Cabinet at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development presented on “Marketing and Public Relations in Public Institutions”.  Her presentation focused on the concept of “Listen, Learn and Let People Know”

Capacity Development Facility supports 17 public institutions in addressing pressing issues in the context of European integration and public administration reform

Prishtina April 11, 2013: CDF project has approved its first wave of requests for capacity development from public institutions of Kosovo contributing towards the requirements for the European integration process and public administration reform. Among the 17 approved requests, CDF is supporting the President of the Supreme Court of Kosovo  in legal review and policy development  for  strengthening judicial cooperation and inter-institutional coordination; the municipality of Hani i Elezit in developing capacities for access in IPA funds and improving regional cooperation with municipalities from Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia;   institutional development for the municipality of Sterpce/Shterpce.
