Kids of Tomorrow

“Kids of Tomorrow” event is a result of work of famous Kosovar artists (Igballe Qena, Zake Prevukaj, Ibrahim Kadriu, Sami Pirraj, and Fatmir Lama) with the children from Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities. Cultural program was presented by the children of these communities on December 20, 2011 in “Xhemajli Berisha“ Cultural Centre in Prizren. Event was organized as a part of the “EU Support for the Implementation of the RAE Strategy” (EU SIMRAES) project funded by the European Union, managed by the European Commission Liaison Office to Kosovo and implemented by the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society. An Evening with Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptians

The Kosovo Foundation for Open Society organizes “An Evening with Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptians” on Wednesday December 14th, 2011, starting at 18:30, at the hall of the Architecture Department, (behind Academy of Sciences and Arts), in Prishtina. The evening is organized to celebrate the end of the year through visual presentation of a number of Foundation’s projects. More than that, the cocktail reception will be enriched with a taste of Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian culture performed by famous Kosovar artists. Hazir Myftari will perform a part of the one-act play “The Seven White Masks Of Scaramouche Jones,” written by Justin Butcher, Kujtim Pacaku will read few of his own poems, as will Enver Petrovci, while Bajram Kinolli-Kafu and Driton Berisha
